Lake Mburo Safari Holiday Vacation: 2 Days.
Mburo is the closest National Park to Kampala and offers a refreshing stopover when traveling to and from the parks and Reserves of Western Uganda. Lake Mburo National Park is ƒ?oa gem of a parkƒ??. Its landscapes are valid and even a short drive is alive with interest and colour. It is probably the best place in Uganda to see acacia-associated birds ƒ?” mosque swallows black-bellied bustard, bare-faced go-away bird and Ruppellƒ?Ts long-tailed sterling.
Famous For: Impala, zebra, eland, Topi, Buffalo, Hippos and Crocodiles, Warthog, Waterbuck, Birds.

When to go: The best period is the dry season, however safari tours are arranged at any time of the year.
Day 1:
In the morning, you will be collected by our Representative (African secrets safaris) from the hotel and depart by road through Ugandaƒ?Ts rolling green hills to Lake Mburo National Park (the drive will take approximately 3-4 hours). You will have a short stop at the Equator for coffee or tea, as well as an informative talk and photography. Drive to Lake Mburo where you may relax for a little while before going in a dug out canoe on the lake or for an evening game drive. Dinner and overnight at Mantana Tented Camp/UWA Bandas/Tents.
Day 2:
An early start will give you a chance to take a guided walk which will lead you to the Salt Lick Area. A strategically located wooden platform offers a chance to see at least four different species of animals at any one point while they lick the salty soil. Drive back to Kampala arriving in the late afternoon. On arrival in Kampala, your guide will see you to your hotel.
