Day 1: Transfer from Kampala to Bwindi
Our company representative and safari driver/guide will pick you from your hotel in Kampala to depart from Kampala by road and head south-West to the Home of Mountain Gorillas (Bwindi Impenetrable National Park). This ancient rainforest is one of the few in Africa to have flourished and a home to half of the world’s endangered population of mountain gorillas. Lunch en route in Mbarara. Dinner and overnight at your Lodge.
Day 2: Gorilla Tracking Tour
After having an early breakfast and briefing from the ranger guides, set off for the gorilla tracking in the impenetrable forest. Gorilla Tracking is a captivating and unforgettable experience which more than repays the effort needed to reach Bwindi and to trek through the forest. The thrill of spending time looking in the deep blue eyes of these gentle and endangered giants is an awesome adventure, exciting and unforgettable experience. Dinner and overnight at your Lodge.
Day 3: Bwindi Impenetrable to Parc Nationale Des Volcans Rwanda
After breakfast, depart for Rwanda via Kigali to Ruhengeri dinner and overnight at Gorilla Nest Hotel or Kinigi Guest House.
Day 4: Rwanda Gorilla Tracking
Set off for the trekking into the rain tropical forest covering the hills surrounding Virunga Volcanoes. Transfer to your lodge for dinner and over night Gorilla Nest Hotel or Kinigi Guest House.
Day 5: Rwanda - Uganda
After a morning breakfast, transfer to Kigali to catch your flight or transfer to Kampala with great memories of and moments spent with the fascinating mountain Gorillas.
