7 Days Uganda Kenya safari
Day 1: Kampala to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Drive early morning towards south west to the park located on the edge of the western rift valley (Albertine rift). Your trip will take you through savannah grasslands and you will then ascend into the kigezi highlands to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Dinner and overnight at Gorilla Resort / Buhoma community Bandas.
Day 2: Bwindi Gorillas
After an early breakfast, report to the ranger station for registration and briefing by one of the ranger guides. Enter the gorilla sanctuary for tracking, pushing your way through the heavily forested and dense landscape crisscrossed by numerous animal trails, allowing access for tourists. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Bwindi to Kampala
After breakfast, drive back to Kampala.
Day 4: Entebbe – Nairobi
You will be picked up from your Hotel to transfer to the airport for your flight to Nairobi.
Day 5. Nairobi/Masai Mara
Leave Nairobi in the morning and drive along the floor of the Rift Valley to Maasai Mara arriving in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge/camp.
Approx Transit time: 5½ hrs
Day 6. Masai Mara Tour
Spend the day in Maasai Mara, Kenya’s most popular game sanctuary. You can choose to have early morning and late afternoon game drives. You will also have the option of visiting a local Maasai village (US$20 per person). All meals and overnight at the Lodge/camp.
Day 7. Maasai Mara/Nairobi
After having breakfast, you will take a morning game drive in Masai Mara, then depart for Nairobi with Hot lunch en route, arriving about 16:00hrs. End of services.
