3 Days Amboseli Safari
Day 1: Nairobi/Amboseli
You will be picked up from your hotel (Nairobi) by your safari guide to drive south through Masai Country via Namanga on the Kenya-Tanzania border and on to Amboseli.
The park lies some 240kms. South-east of Nairobi very close to the Tanzania border. The snow capped peak of Mount Kilimanjaro rising above a saucer of clouds dominates every aspect of Amboseli. On arrival, you will check in and settle in the Lodge and time permitting proceed for a short game drive. Dinner and overnight at the camp/lodge.
Day 2: Amboseli
You will take an early morning pre-breakfast game drive. Semi-arid acacias and grasses papyrus sedges in the swamp lands. Fifty-six species of mammal including baboon, vervet monkey, lion, cheetah, elephant, zebra, hippo, black rhino, Masai Oryx, wildebeest, gerenuk, impala and gazelle. More than 425 bird species have been recorded. Return to the lodge for breakfast. After having your breakfast proceed for further game drive. Birdlife in Amboseli is prolific so you will take a birding trip in the afternoon returning to lodge for Dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Amboseli/Nairobi
After breakfast in the morning, leave lodge for the last game drive, then depart Amboseli National Park for Nairobi in the afternoon.
